I use ext3 on most of my machines. I just moved to ext4 on my laptop when I did a clean install of Ubuntu 9.10 on it. My mythtv partition runs xfs.

And I still answered that I don't know enough about filesystems to have an opinion. Because, really, for the most part, I haven't been able to tell a difference.

Ditto. I'm using ext4 on some systems and ext3 on others; it all seems fine.

I noticed a huge difference in performance, memory wise and in hard disk calls since moving from 8.10 to 9.10.
