Interesting Link
I know an interest in Linux doesn't necessarily mean an interest in Comp Sci, but I figure there will be an overlap, thus many of you will find the following page brings a smile:

They've been talking about this kind of thing on Planet Ubuntu lately. I don't know if any of the bloggers there feel that way (that women are bad at CS), but a lot of the commenters sure do, as did one person that somebody linked to. He wrote a really long, rambling essay that basically said "Women are bad at CS, and that's why so few of them work on F/OSS," and one of my favorite bloggers took him to task for it, here.
I think the Ubuntu Women group did a good job of pointing out how uncomfortable it is to be in the minority, for anyone anywhere. And how a lot of the men working on F/OSS aren't so much mean as they just don't know how to behave, but that some of them are just plain mean, too. This was in a really good How-To called "HOWTO Encourage Women in Linux."
Sorry about the linkspam. >.>b This is what came to mind though, if you haven't already seen any of it.
