Welcome one and all

This community is open to all for any discussions about Linux.

Never heard of it and want to know more? Ask away.

Found a unbelievably helpful Linux related site and want to share the URL? Then do so here.

Want to have a debate about why Linux will never get a bigger market share? - Then you can (respectfully) chat here

Want to know what open source / freeware / shareware all means?

Come in, sit, converse, enjoy - and who knows maybe you'll learn something (or even better teach someone else something)

When commenting, please remember that this community is open to all, and has no age restrictions

I just wanted to point out to you that your supposed pronunciation of Linux on the info page is very much in error. If you doubt this you can find the youtube clip of him discussing it, where he says his name may be pronounced that way, and that people pronounce it differently worldwide and he "doesn't care people pronounce [his] name, but Linux is always Linux," and that's lih, like "lick" or "lily." Not trying to be a jerk but, yeah.

It doesn't, but you were the one who had it in there in the first place. If you're going to direct people about it, you should provide the right thing, as given by Linus Torvalds himself, who does care that people pronounce his creation properly.
