Hello Members: Mod Communication

Hello all.

I hope you are all enjoying the community and finding it useful.

One Member has requested that I turn off customized comment pages for the community.
The request was made because:

[non customized pages].. would be beneficial to current and future comm members and comm passers-by, who [might] prefer simple comment pages over customized - , it [should] makes pages much more reader-friendly.
I - as I am sure you do - want the community to be as open and as accessible as possible to everyone.

So, I've currently turned off customized comments. Below is a poll. I would like to hear from you - the community members - regards this point.

Should customized comments come back? Should they stay the way they are now, or do you just now care either way?

The dreamwidth custom comment pages have been designed to fix many of the accessibility issues that LJ's custom comment pages have. Dreamwidth is specifically interested in addressing other accessibility issues as they are brought to the attention of people who can fix them.

If there are specific accessibility issues that the member has with the basic transmogrified (which is what it looks like you're using here), I hope they'll communicate the problems to [site community profile] dw_styles and [site community profile] dw_accessibility
