Unity question

I'm using Ubuntu Oneiric. Is there any way to move the application launcher somewhere so it's not exactly where it'll be activated every time you try to press the back button in Firefox?

There's a long-running bug report on Launchpad about that. Mark finally said there'll be an option to change that in Precise.

In Natty you could use Compiz Config to change which corner of the screen activated the launcher, but I haven't been able to get that to work in Oneiric.

Yeah, the answer is no, maybe someday.

But, what I did was go into compiz config>unity and changed the speed with which the panel pops up. I got it slow enough to not interfere with backbuttoning and fast enough to not be annoying. You can make the thing only appear on keyboard control too, if you like.
