Browser recommendation?

On occasion, I like to use a text only browser. I have been using elinks, which I like a lot because you can use the mouse with it and it supports tabs and tables.

However, it does not support the <ins> and <del> tags, which I tend to use a lot.

Can anyone recommend an alternate text only browser? Mouse interaction is nice but not essential, and I could live without tabs (although I don't want to), but I really do want table support.

Thanks.

You could check out Links -
there are a few variations on it at the link I've supplied as well. The cool thing is, you can use it in any console, including one that supports tabs.

I forgot - about Emacs.

Emacs as a Web browser

Now you got me thinking about alternative web browsers. I sense a post coming on.....

Keeping a specific browser - e.g. epiphany - set up to not show images, javascript, etc. wouldn't work for you?

I really only know the "pure" text-only browsers like Lynx and Links, and I think they're not what you want :o)
