Actually, because of what you said, I went looking to see if it was GIMP which was not set to accept my tablet, and not the driver, and it turned out that GIMP's settings just had to enable the wacom tablet to 'screen' use, rather than be 'disabled'. :D Now I have pressure sensitivity, and my eraser works! YAY!
