Thanks for the info. I'm not sure how the belkin router I have does it, but it has built in dmz or virtual server system.. however, I'd also come ot a conclusion that was causing problems, so I've taken that off for now. [I originally did it because the routers NAT firewall was blocking a port I needed.]

I'll poke at it and see how I go on, but at least now I know where to start.
